The robotics app landscape is quickly growing and is one of the most exciting new developer opportunities. From working with advanced speech recognition and human face recognition, we are only scratching the surface of the potential for robotic applications. This workshop will give an exclusive experience for those who wish to be some of the first programmers of humanoid robots. Participants will gain a hands-on experience to programming Pepper, a state-of-the-art humanoid robot, and learn how to program robots to respond richly, expressively and appropriately to a user’s mood or emotions. A short talk on basic robotics programming and emotional machine learning will kick off the workshop.
