In Defense of Cyborg Civil Rights
Technologically-enhanced humans unite! Comprised of software, hardware and wetware, our bodies and our rights are at risk.
One of the world's most famous cyborgs, Neil Harbisson, and electronic civil rights and civil liberties researcher and activist Rich MacKinnon, discuss how we must redefine and defend our cyborg civil liberties and the sanctity of our cyborg bodies. We can foresee a battle for the ownership, licensing, and control of our augmented, alternative, and synthetic anatomies; the communication, data and telemetry produced by them; and the very definition of what it means to be human.
