Attending an event like SXSW can be full of opportunity. The networking opportunities are amazing, but you have to be intentional in how you go about making meaningful connections.

This session is designed for the first day and is an open conversation about how to get past fear and hang-ups about networking. Too many people have negative ideas about networking as one-sided or schmoozing. Since networking is "the creation of long-term & mutually beneficial relationships where all involved find more success", there should be no downside to being active in meeting people.

Those who attend this will look at their social activities differently and everyone will meet at least one new person.
