Should Citizens be Allowed to Code?
There will be winners and losers in the near future as programming tools remove the drudgery of writing lines of code to create web applications. Already we have a plethora of tools to create websites without writing HTML, CSS, and Javascript. New advances in low-code/no-code development environments are simplifying the difficult, error-prone, time-consuming, and expensive process of coding. We will explore the impact of these monumental improvements in “full stack” software-development environments and the necessary change in thinking when solving problems from a higher-level perspective for both experienced and less-experienced programmers.
