Getting to Yes: Communication and Entrepreneurship
Communication is a key component to successful negotiations. Entrepreneurs who are working with start-ups need to have a specialized communication skill set in order to get to “yes” from launch to IPO. Knowing your audience is important, but knowing how to communicate with them takes strategy. This session is a conversation among three people that have pioneered teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) students to communicate complex concepts to those who are not well versed in STEM concepts. Additionally, one of the panelists has launched several biotech companies.
