The Chopstars are a closely nit collective of DJs/Turntablist and MC's that perform Chopped and Screwed remixes of popular music including Drake's Take Care album, as well as Little Dragon's Nabuma Rubberband, and recently the soundtrack for 2017 Academy Award Winning film Moonlight. Created by LEGENDARY DJ, OG Ron C, the co-founder of Swishahouse Records, it is a homage to the late DJ Screw. The Motto of Chopstars is "Dedicated to the memory of DJ Screw."
