ABOUT DELTA RAE: Delta Rae – a six piece band from Durham, NC – are signed to The Valory Music Co. Liz Hopkins and Brittany Holljes front Delta Rae’s robust bravado of the six-piece band, whose sultry harmonies are rounded out with Holljes’ brothers Eric (vocals, piano) and Ian (vocals, guitar) as well as Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass). The band chose their moniker from a mythical story the Holljes siblings’ mother wrote about a Southern girl of the same name who summons the Greek gods to earth. A regular on the festival circuit since forming in 2009, Delta Rae’s larger-than-life performances earned coveted spots at Bonnaroo, Tortuga Music Festival, Austin City Limits, Hangout Fest, SXSW and Lollapalooza in addition to sold-out headlining tours. The band has received national attention with features in NPR, Washington Post and the New York Times as well as inclusion in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list.
