Do fashion and technology really have a chance together? Ari Bloom thinks so. As the CEO of Avametric, this former fashion maven leads an SF based team that is developing cutting-edge software tools for the retail & fashion industries. As a recovering corporate retail executive, Ari founded A2B Ventures, a NYC based investing & consulting firm, in 2009 to focus on opportunities at the intersection of traditional consumer business with new technology. Here he worked with the likes of Uniqlo, CFDA, Dreamworks, Starwood Hotels, Equinox, ABC Kitchen, Steven Alan, the James Beard Foundation, Intelligentsia Coffee, Mindbodygreen, and Brit + Co, among many others. He's the Co-founder of Wise Sons Deli in San Francisco, and also helped Ron Johnson start ENJOY, where he was the head of Marketing and Communications. When not working (or serving as personal assistant to his 18 month old daughter), Ari is an avid blues musician and martial arts enthusiast. Ari has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, but please don't hold that against him.Hide the rest
