Technology is liberating women (and men) from 'the beauty myth.' As women have gained increased social power and prominence, expected adherence to standards of physical beauty has grown stronger for them. We’ve become obsessed with ‘the perfect beauty’ and trying to reach an impossible standard. Technology is smashing 'the beauty myth' by helping to empower women, making beauty more personal and allowing more diverse expressions of beauty in society. Although there is still a way to go, tech is playing a role in freeing women from 'the beauty myth' and empowering everyone to find their own individual beauty.

She has consulted at a global level on brands such as Dove, L'Oreal, Nivea, TIGI, John Frieda, Jergens, Neutrogena and Clearasil, doing everything from traditional brand planning to experience innovation and business consultancy.
Adriana has done the London festivals circuit in 2015 with her 'Facemapping the Future: Breaking the Tangibility Barrier' session, which looks at unlocking the true potential of digital for beauty brands, and delivered bespoke innovation workshops on the same topic for several high profile clients. She has published articles for national and international publications such as The Guardian, Marketing Magazine, Campaign US, Brand Republic and Media Week and the Digital PM by The Wall, all addressing the future of digital beauty.
