This Mentor Session requires advance online sign up and is available to all Film, Gold, and Platinum badgeholders on a first-come, first-served basis. Online sign ups will open in February.
Registrants who sign up online must check-in 30 minutes before their mentor time slot to guarantee their spot. Limited on-site sign up is also available for a small number of Mentor Sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

Adam Donaghey, founder of Zero Trans Fat Productions, is an award-winning independent film, commercial & television producer and production manager from Texas. His work has been nominated for both the Independent Spirit and Gotham Awards, and has been showcased at fests including Sundance, Berlinale, SXSW, Sitges, LA Film Festival, AFI Fest, Hamptons Int’l Film Festival and Thessaloniki; and via distributors including IFC Films, Factory 25, XLRator Media, Cinetic Media, Fandor, Gathr, Vimeo, Cinelicious, the Lifetime Channel, the Lifetime Movie Network, Investigation Discovery, and American Public Television. Adam has produced, production managed and coordinated regional and national commercials for major brands such as McDonald’s, Verizon, Coca-Cola, Hasbro, Polaris, Warheads, and Monster.com; and music videos for artists including the Eli Young Band, Kip Moore, Granger Smith/Earl Dibbles Jr., and Randy Rogers Band. Adam is a Partner and Vice President of Aviation Cinemas, Inc., the holding company operating the historic Texas Theatre, an art house and national landmark in Dallas, Texas. Financed by Howard Hughes in 1931, the Texas Theatre received national attention after the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald, alleged shooter of President John F. Kennedy. Adam also Co-Founded and programs for the Oak Cliff Film Festival. Adam regularly speaks and judges at universities, film festivals and industry related workshops, conferences and competitions; and is a freelance film columnist for D Magazine and MovieMaker Magazine. Adam is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a B.A. in philosophy. 2016 marks Adam's 10th year attending SXSW.Hide the rest
