The success or failure of any Virtual Reality (VR) experience is entirely dependent on how much “reality” can be attained. High-fidelity, immersive and even multi-directional audio can make or break a VR experience, and yet it’s often put on the back burner when it comes to crafting VR applications. In this session, Corey Rosemond from Plantronics will moderate a panel that will talk about what to consider when developing a VR game in terms of sound and what’s been done to improve the audio experience in VR.

Aaron is an VR designer and musician from Austin, TX. He is a cofounder of Axon Virtual Health, which creates virtual reality applications for patient use in clinical settings, and seeks to explore how VR can improve medicine and the patient experience.
Aaron has also created 7 VR experiences for the consumer market: Eden River, Lunadroid 237, Waking Man, Fire Breather, Opera Nova, Nebuland, and Zen Zone. Currently he is working on more relaxing and meditative experiences for the Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive and Oculus CV1.
Aaron has a degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
