The Unity game engine is an amazing tool for making games! From AAA to mobile, Unity has the ability to port to almost every platform. Prototyping is often a balance of design and programming. Prototyping is crucial when designing gameplay features. This session will dive deep into the game development process, and the many elements and skills involved. We will discuss productive brainstorming techniques, and cover an in-depth overview of the awesome technical capabilities of the Unity engine.

Finn Staber is a Programmer/Designer at Portalarium working on Shroud of the Avatar. He has additional experience in Visual FX, 2D/3D Animation/Rigging, 3D Art and World Building. He has helped launch multiple successful startups in Austin, and has consulted for many high-profile studios and AR/VR hardware manufacturers. He focuses on creating advanced player controls, and building amazing interactive experiences. He has a passion for developing functionality and controls for Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality using projected light fields (smartglasses); utilizing the latest tech for infrared motion tracking and point cloud area learning.
