Four years ago, Austin music teacher Quentin Thomas-Oliver went looking for a drummer willing to play the type of music he wanted. When he couldn’t find one, he built one. Thus the band Ponytrap was born. In our session we'll discuss building robot drums and achieving goals: How we became Makers on accident and how we learned on the fly. Using Ponytrap's machines as a narrative, we'll talk about the broader topic of how to drill down into the thing you want and build the thing you need.
