A Conversation with Dion: Rock's Enduring Voice
Dion Francis DiMucci started out in the Bronx as a "Teenager In Love," met "Runaround Sue," became the "Wanderer," introduced us to "Ruby Baby," and showed us the truth with "Abraham Martin and John."
From the early days of singing on the New York streets; being with Buddy Holly the day the music died; then born again through the music he loved.... all the way to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Five decades of rock and roll history and he's not done yet, releasing "New York Is My Home" featuring a duet with the great Paul Simon in 2016.
Join us for a conversation in story and song with Dion as he speaks to Richard Gottehrer whose career as a song-writer, producer, label exec, and Orchard co-founder also began at rock's inception.
