This Mentor Session requires advance online sign up and is available to all Film, Gold, and Platinum badgeholders on a first-come, first-served basis. Online sign ups will open in February.
Registrants who sign up online must check-in 30 minutes before their mentor time slot to guarantee their spot. Limited on-site sign up is also available for a small number of Mentor Sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

Andrew Meyer has over 30 years experience as an educator, entertainment industry senior executive, and feature film producer. He has served as the President of Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss’ A&M Films, Robert Redford’s Wildwood Productions, and Norman Lear’s Act lll Productions. Mr. Meyer is currently a member of the Faculty in the School of Entertainment Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Notable among the many films he has produced, Fried Green Tomatoes was nominated for two Academy Awards (Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress), a BAFTRA award and several Golden Globe nominations.
Mr. Meyer developed and produced The Breakfast Club. He has spent 2015 touring the United States to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film, with a digitally restored version which premiered at SXSW and was re-released in over 500 theaters.
Mr. Meyer acquired and developed the feature film Birdy, which his company produced, directed by Alan Parker, starring Matthew Modine and Nicholas Cage. Birdy was selected as the recipient of the Grand Prix Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
Mr. Meyer continued his success in film, producing such movies as Better Off Dead (directed by Steve Holland, starring John Cusack), Bring on the Night (directed by Michael Apted, starring Sting), Breaking In (directed by Bill Forsythe, starring Burt Reynolds), One Crazy Summer (directed by Steve Holland, starring Demi Moore and John Cusack), and Pyrates (directed by Noah Stern, starring Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick) and The Milagro Bean Field War (directed by Robert Redford, starring Christopher Walken and Reuben Blades) and Promised Land (starring Keiffer Sutherland and Meg Ryan).
Mr. Meyer has lectured extensively in Latin America and in South America. In February 2016 Mr. Meyer will be lecturing in Beijing, China.
