This Mentor Session requires advance online sign up and is available to all Film, Gold, and Platinum badgeholders on a first-come, first-served basis. Online sign ups will open in February.
Registrants who sign up online must check-in 30 minutes before their mentor time slot to guarantee their spot. Limited on-site sign up is also available for a small number of Mentor Sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

Marc Bortz is the Director of Fiction Content at Preferred Content where he has worked since December 2012. In this role, Marc packages and produces narrative features to be sold at the leading domestic film festivals such as Sundance, SxSW, Tribeca, and Toronto. Marc started his tenure at Preferred Content working directly for its Founder and CEO, Kevin Iwashina. Previous experience in the field includes time spent at ICM Partners, and Marc Platt Productions. Marc graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and is originally from Potomac Maryland.
Preferred Content is a film, television and digital sales, production and advisory company. We specialize in the creation and monetization of independently financed narrative and non-fiction content for distribution on any media platform.
With regards to our sales and production business, we specialize in American Independent features, Documentary features and festival quality genre content.
