Problem Solvers: Scaling Design Thinking for Sports
This session will share the results from a new experiential dschool class being taught at Stanford in January 2016, and help the audience consider how design thinking could help them solve some of the biggest challenges in sports. In addition to the instructors of the course (Ward Bullard and Araceli Ortiz), the panel will feature current Stanford students who enrolled in our class. The class will feature current student athletes and non-student athletes coming together to improve the sports fan experience and test their user-centered prototypes in a large, captive audience (Stanford Men's Basketball game). We are hoping to inspire more collaborations with academia and athletics.
