The point of personalization is to make it easy for individuals to find and consume what they want, how and when they want it. The problem is that traditional methods focus on what people have done instead of why they’ve done it. To capture the “why,” each interaction must be decomposed into its various traits, which are then mapped to the genome, creating a fluid individual profile of unique preferences, needs and passions. During the session, attendees will be able to see their own SXSW customer genome based on their SXSW activities, the restaurants and bars they visited, and social interactions.
