Maria is part of the team establishing Experience Design as a discipline at GSD&M, a full-service advertising agency in Austin, TX. Previously Maria led visual design for R/GA's Austin office.

With a background in fine art, specifically metalwork and jewelry design, and further training in graphic design Maria has a unique point-of-view on creative inspiration.

Maria is a graduate of the University of Georgia and The Creative Circus. During the hours that should be spent sleeping Maria can be found training for marathons, in the metalwork studio, illustrating a series of baby books, or soaking up the sun with a greyhound named Delta.
