Using Art and Innovation to Illuminate Injustice
How can we wake the world up to the most pressing social injustices of our time? What makes the world care and act? We know news, facts, figures, and “objective” information are losing value and trust rapidly. But what about art? Documentaries and Virtual Reality projects; visual art and collaborative performance pieces. When art and innovation intersect, we see the world through new eyes – a look at what the world is, what it can be, and who we can be in it. These two concepts afford us the opportunity to not just see what’s wrong, but what we can do about it. Meet four artists, innovators & architects of this model explore new methods to merge art & innovation to advance social justice.
