Technology has impacted our western world by giving people the freedom of choice whether that’s how they listen to music or order their groceries online. However, the unlimited number of options within those products breeds complications in our on-demand society. This presentation will dive into the design and product ethos around simplicity and how limiting choice and giving the consumer exactly what they want without them even knowing it will be how companies of the future will win.

As Chief Product Officer, Chris Phillips is responsible for defining and leading Pandora's overarching product strategy and roadmap. He partners closely with the technology team to develop products that deliver value to listeners, advertisers and artists. His specific functional areas of responsibility include product management, product design and product analytics.
Prior to joining Pandora, Chris was Director of Product Management and User Experience for Amazon Digital Music at Amazon. He was responsible for the product roadmap and delivery of customer experiences across device platforms and international expansion. He was also responsible for the product introduction of Amazon Prime Music. Before Amazon, Chris served as Director of Apple QuickBooks product management, marketing and user experience and led product and design for the Intuit Global Business Division at Intuit. He also held roles at Workspeed and Accenture.
