Laura Damon-Moore is a programming and outreach librarian, art-maker, blogger, performing artist, and author. She is co-founder of the Library as Incubator Project, an online and IRL movement that strives to facilitate engaged, creative communities through strong library and arts partnerships. In 2014, Laura was named a Mover & Shaker by Library Journal for her work with the Library as Incubator Project. Her book, The Artist's Library: A Field Guide (co-authored with LAIP co-founder Erinn Batykefer) was published by Coffee House Press in 2014.

Laura is co-founder of UnBound Players, a performance collective whose mission is to promote the exploration of literature and information through interactive performances and drama workshops. In 2013 she founded the Book to Art Club, a sister project of the LAIP, which incorporates hands-on art making into the traditional library book discussion group. The Book to Art Club currently has 11 chapters in libraries around the USA and Canada.
