Evan Young is General Manager of Content and Applications at TiVo, and in this role currently oversees strategy, product management, business development, and operations for first-party and third-party content, applications and streaming services on the TiVo platform. At TiVo since 2004, he has led TiVo’s initiatives in Internet TV streaming; developer platform SDK & APIs; tablet & mobile applications; connected TV & CE experiences; interactive advertising; and cloud services. In January 2015, Evan accepted a Technical & Engineering Emmy(R) Award from NATAS for TiVo’s early work on Internet TV streaming services. Evan has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Harvard University. While at Stanford, Evan was the founder of “The Future of Entertainment”, an annual business and technology conference on media convergence.
