Festivals on the Big Screen: A Global Opportunity?
Live and repeat screenings of theatre, opera and classical music accounts for $29 million (18.7%) of all UK cinema box office (BFI Statistical Yearbook 2014). 'Popular music' concerts, however, only account for 0.5%.

With music festival tourism on the rise, we talk through a hypothetical live stream event, including tech planning, licensing and international PR opportunities, questioning whether festival festival growth abroad can start with a big screen audience at home.
