How to Create Makerspaces in Your Community
The key to improving a community is positively impacting the local businesses. Local businesses offer economic and social support vital to a community’s sustainability and growth. A makerspace in a community is significant because it is a cost efficient incubator as well as an important step for developing local businesses. A makerspace also helps determine the needs within a community and creates local businesses based on meeting those needs. During our panel, we will outline the top three steps to creating an efficient makerspace in your community - finding a space, creating a team to run the space, and find backers.
