Points are a global currency and maximizing them not only means more money in your pocket, but the ability to reach new cities and audiences.
Earning: Using the best credit cards to maximize every single dollar spent. You can be earning 2-10x the amount of points per dollar spent.
Loyalty: Are you only staying at the cheapest hotels? Cheap may be expensive- combining a credit card with hotel loyalty can get you free perks like breakfast, wifi, early check in, etc
Redeeming: Not all miles and points are created equal. Choosing the right frequent flier program can save you money and yield upgrades and other perks. A well-rested artist performs better!

Brian Kelly is The Points Guy, a leader and influencer in the industry of points, miles and travel in general. As a passionate traveler since childhood, Brian used his knowledge and insight to start ThePointsGuy.com during his time as a Wall Street road warrior while traveling the globe for up to six months a year. Brian was able to book exciting and extravagant trips for next to nothing through his hard-earned loyalty points and airline miles, flying first class and staying at luxury hotels all for less than the cost of a coach ticket and a hostel bed. Due to the immense interest in his tips and advice, Brian left his Wall Street job in June 2011 to grow his site and travel the world full-time.
Through his earning strategies and travel savvy, ThePointsGuy.com now has grown to over 1.5 Million unique monthly visitors, with a growing staff of ten editors and writers keeping their readers up to date on important points and travel news.
Brian has been featured in over 100 publications and news outlets including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, The Los Angeles Times, The Independent, CNN, and The Today Show, among others. He has presented at various travel conferences including the LA Times and New York Times Travel Shows, and the annual Chicago Frequent Flyer Seminars.

Tom Windish got his start in the music industry by booking concerts and hosting college radio shows while attending State University of New York at Binghamton. Soon after, he began booking tours for bands, some whom he booked to play at his college a few months or years earlier. Opening up shop in his small Chicago apartment in 2004, The Windish Agency began with minimum expectations and the desire to be the best agency possible for artists he loved.
After close to ten years, The Windish Agency has expanded its offices to six cities, 25 agents and over 60 employees. The agency continues to focus on the goals and needs of the artists, finding inventive and thoughtfully constructed ways to bring their live performances to fans.
The company books tours in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Australia, Asia and parts of Europe and Africa. The agency oversees the tours of many artists including Lorde, Alt-J, M83, Diplo, Matt and Kim, The Knife, Girl Talk, Hot Chip, Lykke Li, Pink Martini and The xx.Hide the rest
