David Brin is a scientist, inventor, and New York Times bestselling author. With books translated into 25 languages, he has won multiple Hugo, Nebula, and other awards. Suzanne Fry is Director of the Strategic Futures Group at the National Intelligence Council (NIC), where she is responsible for the Global Trends series and global and strategic issue analysis. Global Trends is an unclassified assessment of the strategic landscape during the next 20 years and will be delivered to the US President-Elect in December 2016. Her areas of expertise are in political instability, governance, and geopolitics, among other strategic and societal issues. Ms. Fry received her PhD in Political Science from New York University and BA in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
