Inside the Minds of Angels and VCs
For startup founders fund raising is hard in no small part because it is so opaque. And founders often don't appreciate that the two key sources of early stage growth capital, angel investors and Venture Capitalists (VCs) have very different motivations and "business models." So what might work for an angel might not suit a VC and vice versa. Founders need to be smart about the differences and position themselves accordingly to maximize their chances of success. And also to avoid doing things that could adversely their chances of successfully executing future fund raising rounds. They need to get inside the minds of Angels and VCs.
