A candid discussion with professional athletes and marketers about the new ways athletes and brands are monetizing unprecedented global interest and engagement in sports. Athletes are now disintermediating the traditional media process by creating their own publishing businesses. Players have collateralized their future earnings by launching IPOs in their own image. Athletes have stepped behind the camera serving as CMOs and creative directors for brands, in addition to being the subject and promoter of original content. Anna Rawson is an Australian professional golfer and Model. Anna won a NCAA championship at the University of Southern California and competed on the LPGA and Ladies European tour for 6 years. Her best finish was losing in a playoff at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss open and her career low round was a 64. Anna had top 10 finishes on all three major world tours - LPGA, KLPGA and Ladies European tour.
During her time as a professional golfer Anna became very savvy at digital marketing and branding which led her to grace a number of magazine covers as well as being featured in over 100 articles around the world. Anna retired from full-time playing and recently received her MBA from Columbia. Anna's focus at Columbia was on Venture Capital/Entrepreneurship and she was a member of the highly selective Columbia business school Greenhouse startup accelerator program.

An inventive and creative marketer, Daniel Jeydel is an Associate Director within Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy's digitally led media and performance marketing network. At 24 he was named to Neo@Ogilvy’s Management Board. He has since been asked to serve on the WPP Digital Advisory Board, Commerce@Ogilvy Board along with leading Ogilvy's Digital Lab in New York and Ogilvy's Young Professional Network.

Vernon Davis is currently a tight end in the NFL. He entered the NFL draft in 2006, and was selected 6th overall after a stellar, record-setting NFL combine performance. During his 10 years in the NFL, he has been selected to the Pro Bowl twice, he was the NFL receiving touchdowns co-leader in 2012, he was named second-team All-Pro in 2013, and was a 2012 NFC Champion. His best known play occurred in the 2011-2012 playoffs divisional matchup against the Saints after he caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Alex Smith, now referred to as "The Catch III."
Off the field, Davis is equally successful. He is a passionate artist and opened his own art gallery. His love for art is also the reason he founded the Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts, which provides art scholarships and supports art education in the community. Davis enjoys acting and has made appearances on a variety of TV shows including The League, Family Feud, and Who's Line Is It Anyway.
