As an experienced medical planner, Angela understands that healthcare environments have a tremendous impact on their users. She believes that as the patient gains more power as a consumer in the health space, healthcare will adjust its focus from illness to wellness. Eventually, this will shift will lead to an on-demand, consumer-dictated healthcare system that will be based out of the home. Though she doesn’t think that hospitals will disappear, she believes that technological and architectural advancements will eliminate the need for doctor’s offices, and will allow users to monitor their overall wellness and practice preventative health.
