SXgood Stories: Mainstreaming Accessibility

"Accessibility" is a big word --- but really, it just means technology that works for everyone. Today, there's tons of tech for people with disabilities, but often these inventions create a lane that isolates, rather than integrates, the marginalized population. How can we bring disability visibility, universal design, and overall access into the mainstream? Luckily, industry leaders have dreamt up exciting answers.

For the first time, San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired is bringing true accessibility pioneers to SXSW. This event kicks off with a special presentation from Pixar Animation Studios, who with Disney have made their movies more accessible to blind people. Then we’ll hear stories from some others:
