A tortured boy has recurring nightmares of a trauma that he cannot overcome alone. He turns to KATHAROS, a dream therapist who probes the boy's mind. When the boy is instructed to exact revenge on his enemy, he begins to question the authenticity of his memories; and the meaning of the boy's dreams are revealed.

Evan O'Brien is a student filmmaker and musician based in Dallas, TX from Greenhill School. This is his second year attending SXSW. He attended last year as a composer for a Texas High School Selection. He also has two other shorts which he has scored in this year's selection. Evan is thrilled to be part of SXSW again with his film KATHAROS.
