Chris Camillo, a pioneer in social information arbitrage investing, is one of the world’s top performing self-directed investors and the published author of Laughing at Wall Street (MacMillan / St. Martin's press, Oct 2011). In 2006, he leveraged social data analysis to invest $20k in the stock market, and in just over three years, grew it to more than $2mm. Howard’s current start-up is called Stocktwits, and he is a co-founder and now chairman, after five years as CEO. He also manages a hedge fund, which he has done since June of 1998, and makes early-stage investments though Social Leverage. In the summer of 2006, he created Wallstrip and with the help of Adam Elend, Jeff Marks, Lindsay Campbell and a hard-working crew, created over 300 shows. In May 2007, Wallstrip was purchased by CBS.
