Mark Zuckerberg. Bill Gates. Evan Spiegel. These are just some of the storied entrepreneurs who’ve launched a startup while in college – and ultimately dropping out as Facebook, Microsoft, and SnapChat found success. So what is it about student entrepreneurs? And do you have to drop out?

Join three successful Yale entrepreneurs who launched their startups while still in school – and graduating – who discuss the pros and cons of being a student while founding a tech company. What tactics did they use as student founders that may not have been available to their graduated counterparts? How did they balance their growing business and classes?

This session explores why students should consider starting a company while in school, what sets student entrepreneurs apart, and advice and lessons learned from those who’ve successfully navigated its challenges.
