The panel will use the theatrical releases of two SXSW 2013 feature films, BEFORE YOU KNOW IT (PJ Raval) and ZERO CHARISMA (Katie Graham, Andrew Matthews), as a how-to case study for releasing your independent film theatrically. Whether you choose an entirely DIY or partially DIY route to release your film in theaters, filmmakers PJ Raval (Director), Sara Giustini (Producer), Annie Bush (Co-Producer), Katie Graham (Co-Director) and Andrew Matthews (Co-Director) will share their experience setting goals for their theatrical run, creating strategies for audience building and budgeting for distribution & outreach.
