The United Nations Foundation, through its Universal Access Project, and in partnership with the Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA), Participant Media, and the United Nations Population Fund are hosting a documentary film screening, followed by a panel discussion, highlighting the importance of empowering girls and women to plan their families and plan their lives and underscoring the critical role mobile phone technology plays in educating women about their reproductive health.
