Born in the Norview section of Norfolk, Virginia, Regime the Statement (also known as “New Regime”) was destined to be a star. After moving to the diverse Chesapeake, Virginia neighborhood of Crestwood, Regime became a neighborhood superstar known for the tales told through his music, among other things.
After being incarcerated Regime decided to take music seriously and embarked on a journey to be heard. However, shortly after his decision to take music seriously, that plan was almost cut short, as he was involved in a near fatal shooting. Having survived the vicious attack, Regime became more focused than ever and hasn't looked back. Regime and his team, SCG Da Government are on a creative frenzy recording new music, accompanied with music videos as well doing shows with major artists.

Though Regime is still considered a new comer to the music industry he has already toured with Epic Records Recording Artist, Future, Young Jeezy and Ty Dollar Signs. He has performed as an opening act for Maybach Music Recording Artist, Fat Trel. The two have also worked on the Kino Beats produced “Money Hungry” which is on the project from Regime the Statement entitled “The Million Dollar Regiment”.
