Obscured by Echoes is an Austin based psych rock band. Created in early 2012, the band combines textured guitar tones and layers of synth to contribute a more sophisticated take on psychedelia than the drone and reverb soaked trends of late. From guitar driven space rock to ethereal soundscapes the band explores the darker side of life and human nature. Debut LP Black Matter Manifesto(2012), which was entirely self produced and recorded by the band, was released in vinyl format by indie label Cliff House Records in July 2013. The follow up, concept 7" Nuclear Winter, was released in Fall of 2013 and a Avidonia Part 1: The Escape was released in 2015.
