The Mau Mau Chaplains are a roots reggae band from Austin, Texas. We have been playing reggae together for 30+ years. We specialize in roots reggae and dubwise sounds. Members of the Mau Maus were founding members of The Lotions (the 1st Texas reggae band). The Mau Mau Chaplains have opened for and toured with nearly all the artists that influence us as mentioned. The Maus play primarily in and around Austin, Texas, but are open to travel and most of all...adventure!
