Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (talarts.org), California Lawyers for the Arts (calawyersforthearts.org) and New York Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (vlany.org) are teaming up to provide information on how musicians who live or do business in New York, Texas, or California can make use of FREE legal services in those states. All three organizations represent the oldest and most experienced volunteer lawyer organizations in the country and have access to hundreds of highly skilled lawyers who can help artists on legal issues ranging from copyright, music licensing, recording contracts, management agreements, etc. Very few artists know about these services.
