The challenges faced by Pakistan Music Industry in terms of lack of Intellectual Property Rights, lack of venues and venue management, lack of security resulting in no live concerts, weak media and government policies, lack of producers, cultural extremism and lack of community support, resulting in diminishing of musicians and hence the industry. The musicians, however, fighting back, surviving and thriving through this situation and still producing world class music for the love of it, compromising their livelihood yet no compensation, no documentation and no recognition on global music scene.
