How to Fill a Club When You Play Sheboygan
Publicists, artists and artist management are often frustrated in their efforts to generate good attendance at shows away from home. There are fewer local print publications, especially in smaller markets, and those that exist often provide little or no music coverage. At the same time, new types of media have now established themselves and traditional alternative outlets now are more responsive to independent publicists and artists than ever before. Even so, getting the word out and filling a club in tertiary markets is a challenge.
We will discuss how to locate the pertinent media in tour markets large and small and how to communicate with them most effectively.
