Mindfulness at Work Meet Up
Most people spend 40% of their adult waking life at work. For many of us, that time is a blur of meetings, email and frenzied activity. If there's a gap during the day, the web usually wins our attention. We leave work exhausted and out of touch with our basic humanness.
But there are small steps we can all take to be more aware and more present, inspiring our own creativity, fostering innovation and reducing stress. Things like taking a walk every day; starting a meditation group at lunch; or maybe your own little personal ritual that wakes you up.
Maybe you don't do anything at all, but you want to start.
Whatever it is, the Mindfulness @Work Meetup is a place to learn from each other's experiences and find strategies that make you more aware day to day. It's not a lecture or a panel. We'll meet, sit together for a few minutes in silence, and discuss different approaches to mindfulness at work. You'll never look at work the same way again!
