Money can buy the bed, but you still need a reason to get out of it in the morning. Despite being the son of self-made billionaire entrepreneur parents and having a multi-million dollar net worth, Bryan Miller found himself working a job he didn’t love, in a marriage that didn’t work, believing life was meaningless.
Bryan found a way off the existential treadmill, and he’s designed this workshop to help you do the same. George Bernard Shaw said, “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” In this workshop, you’ll do both using principles of mindfulness and intentionality.
This workshop is intended to help you access your inner genius. You’ll also learn how to fuse your passion and your purpose by doing work you love that matters.
Finally, you’ll learn what it means to achieve “success beyond” as you discover new ways of “seeing and being” that allow you to transcend society’s traditional, and often hollow, definitions of success.
Bryan’s two-and-a-half hour SXSW workshop will consist of stories, activities, and self-reflection. Bryan will start by sharing personal stories along with lessons he’s learned about the blessings and burdens of success.
This workshop is divided into three 45-minute segments, in which you will explore what it means to “Be a Genius,” to “Do Great Work” and to “Achieve Success Beyond,” before leading yourself to your own answers.
