The session will describe the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Mexico. First we describe the current situation and opportunities for startups in Mexico, talking about the social, educational, and cultural tendencies in the country and how these impact starting new businesses in Mexico. Second, we move into the need for startups and entrepreneurs in Mexico, national and international, since there is a growing necessity to provide new solutions and also to innovate in our existing infrastructure and current product and service offering. Third, we talk about what an entrepreneur needs in Mexico to succeed, from mentorship to a very well-connected network in addition to what a person needs to reside in the country as an entrepreneur. Lastly, we talk about where is Mexico headed and why the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem is growing. We talk about how the right elements are in place to grow this culture and support the creation of new and innovative companies.
