Welcome to Your New Brain: Lessons From Concussion
Anne Forrest has a Ph.D. in Economics and worked on sustainability policy at a Washington DC think tank. Then a minor auto accident rattled her brain around inside her skull and left her with a concussion/mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). During her journey of recovery from brain injury, she learned how her brain works and her brain’s ability to change. The lessons she learned and the tools she used are useful even for those without an injury. Join Anne as she discusses 10 lessons from her concussion and shares the knowledge and tools she wishes she had before her injury.
