The Future Is Short-Form: Storytelling for Today
Short-form content has emerged as a new form of storytelling as millennials continue to alter their entertainment consumption habits. With the ubiquity of mobile phones and tablets, millennials are watching short, snackable video clips more than ever. In this session, Bonnie Pan, executive vice president of programming at Maker Studios, and David Freeman, co-head of the brand partnership and digital content packaging groups at CAA, will discuss the rise of short-form content and changing viewing habits. Pan will share her exclusive insight on working with brands and content creators to develop new, innovative programming for Maker’s millennial audience. Led by Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw, the group will discuss best practices for storytelling using short-form content and why this new medium has resonated so strongly with millennials.
