Jennifer Merritt is founding editor of BBC Capital, a BBC Worldwide site focused on careers, management, leadership, risk and ethics, personal finance, wealth and other personal business topics. Before joining the BBC, Jennifer was Wealth Management Editor at Reuters and spent several years as Careers Editor for The Wall Street Journal and WSJ.com and five years as BusinessWeek’s Management Education Editor, where she led the magazine’s business school rankings and coverage. She has also been an editor and reporter at several newspapers. Jennifer is also the author of several books, including The Wall Street Journal Guide to Building Your Career, BusinessWeek’s Guide to the Best Business Schools and 13 Things Rich People Won’t Tell You About Getting and Staying Rich. Jennifer is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and she lives in the New York City suburbs with her two children.
