The workforce is changing, that much is clear, and many people are worried about it. Pick up any newspaper or magazine and you can probably find a great article bemoaning the current crop of young professionals and pining for the work ethic of yesteryear. But whether you’re concerned about the rise of millennials or not doesn't matter: the millennial workforce is here and it’s here to stay. And that’s a good thing. It’s time to stop complaining about them and start empowering them as they climb into the driver’s seat of the global economy.
This panel will provide insight and analysis into the true nature of our changing, modern workforce and examine successful strategies for training, motivating and managing millennial workers. Attendees will hear from businesses and executives who specialize in getting the most out of employees and who have been successfully managing millennial employees and growing their businesses for years.

Anne joined Chegg with the acquisition of Zinch, which enabled millions of students to showcase themselves as "more than test scores" to be matched with colleges, scholarships, grad schools and more. Previously, Anne co-founded Military.com to connect service members and veterans to benefits, including GI Bill and career networking. Military.com was acquired by Monster Worldwide, where she led affinity networks. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing & International Management from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Jeff Fernandez is the Cofounder and CEO of Grovo Learning, Inc. Grovo teaches Internet and modern professional skills with 60-second videos. The videos follow Grovo's proprietary microlearning methodology and cover more than 130 Internet tools, cloud services, and professional topics. Prior to Grovo, Jeff was a Product Manager with Clickable (acquired by Syncapse), a web service that brings simplicity to online advertising. He worked on Clickable's flagship product, Clickable Pro, and helped integrate Facebook advertising and launch the American Express OPEN partnership. From 2006 until 2009, Jeff worked for Doostang (acquired by Universum Global) and served as Head of Business Development and Sales.
