Jenny just wants to know what her dad is up to. He's digging a hole in the backyard, but won't say why. She and her friends spend the afternoon watching him. Things escalate when neighbors start asking questions and her mother gets involved.
The adult world is always such a mystery, even if the adults aren't really doing much of anything.
